This one was so special for me.

When Manu and I started working on this song, I knew it would be a deep one. Back then, we didn't feel understood. I couldn't find peace in myself, couldn't find my anchor points. Bad dreams, anxiety, I was completely in the dark. I wanted to write about that.

We thought a lot about who to send this track to, we needed the right voice for it. Then Jessi came to mind, and I thought, why not. I explained the idea behind the song, what it was really about, and she got it immediately, she understood exactly how it feels.

Not long after, she sent back the lyrics "my mind's in a maze, running in from the heart." But we knew this needed a happy ending. And it got one, because somewhere in all that darkness I again realized someone was watching over me the whole time, pulling me out of it. "Right out of the maze, right out of the haze, straight to the heart." That line felt so hopeful we knew a cinematic version had to happen too, so we made it.

At its core, this song is about being lost in your own mind, stuck in a maze where nothing feels right, and somehow still finding someone to guide you through the haze and back to where you belong.

How we made it

This one was crazyy.

While I was studying in Bible-School, I met a guy who was in the same class as me, who was really talented in playing guitar.

He used to play professionally in bands, plays in a worship team and is probably the most talented musician I've ever met.

As we got closer into the friendship, we thought, why not make a song together? I mean, the idea of combining deep house/dance music with electric guitar/soul music is kinda special, right?

So, we (me, Giulio and Manu) sat down on the production and tried to come up with a good idea for a song. We were really excited, and as soon as we found THAT melody, we thought "this is gonna be sickkk!!".

Giulio wrote the lyrics that really meant a lot to him - it's all about how miserable the human is and how he met someone, who is the never ending light in his life.

I LOVED that idea.

So, we recorded his guitar, his vocals, finished the track and there it is - our first self released song 🙂

How we made it

Honestly, if you told me a year ago I'd be writing this, I wouldn't have believed you.

It started with Robbie Mendez launching a call-up raffle for random producers. You see those things online all the time, but you never actually expect to win. Robbie was my absolute inspiration. I learned a lot through his production tutorials on YouTube.

I threw my name in anyway, and against all odds, I got picked. I couldn't believe it.

I sent him a raw demo idea and Robbie took it and absolutely elevated it, keeping the core of my sound but adding this massive energy.

The whole track is built around one realization: "You are good to me."

We all go through seasons where life feels heavy and we get completely blind to the good things around us. It's so easy to feel like everything is working against you.

This song was my way of fighting back against that.

For me, it's a direct thank you to God - an acknowledgment that even when I'm struggling or can't feel it, He is still good.

And whether you see that as God or just those rare, irreplaceable people in your life who hold you up, it's about stopping to realize how blessed we actually are.

I hope it reminds you that no matter what you're walking through, there is still good to be found.
